What does S.O.U.L. stands for?
S.O.U.L. stands for Service. Oneness. Unity. Love - Some of the lessons that animals demonstrate for us through our kinship with them. This speaks of Christ-Consciousness, or "seeing the face of God in all living beings;" it is what can help humanity move along the spiritual evolution process turning separation into unity, fear into love, competition into collaboration, and hurt into compassion. A deep transformational experience of COMPASSION towards another living being leads to the understanding of our inter-connectedness with the web of all life and thus to personal, societal, global healing as a "new earth" or "S.O.U.L. Society."

SERVICE
Selfless Service:
What is Selfless service? First of all, what is it not - it does not mean having no sense of self, no boundaries, or forgetting about our own needs for the sake of validation or pleasing others (this is "enmeshment" and is a psychologically unhealthy situation). Rather Selfless Service means doing something for another or for the greater good of all regardless of personal gain. It also means viewing the needs of another as equal to your own, and offering to help without calculations of personal gain. We've seen many examples of animals risking their lives for the sake of saving humans or helping other animals (see clips below) - demonstrating perfect example of Selfless Service!

ONENESS
Oneness with all Life - We are all connected!
It is not enough to have the knowledge of Oneness with all life... By seeing someone as a fellow soul, rather than as a body, we are able to have a glimpse of the innocence in them - even for a split second - and experience true Oneness. This does not mean that we are all the same or that we naively go about the world without boundaries, opinions, or individual personalities, but by recognizing that every living being is interconnected to its immediate environment and thus to the large web of life, we can begin to see our own self reflected back through the eyes of those we look upon and remind them of the Light-essence within them regardless of the form their body takes or their surface level opinions or actions. This has the potential to offer healing on a deep level individually and globally!

UNITY
Unity Consciousness -
The new paradigm forming on earth speaks of Unity Consciousness (or Christ Consciousness). It has nothing to do with a particular religion; rather it means coming Home to our connection with Source and seeing that we are not separated from it or any of life's creations. True vision means looking through the eyes of compassion and recognizing the essence of the Divine in ourselves and all living beings. It literally means seeing God in everyone. This will not only allow us to move up in our spiritual evolution but also would ensure the survival of all species and kingdoms! Animals do not question nor have forgotten their unity with the source of creation and with nature. It is no wonder that so many of us enjoy being around them and be reminded of our innate truth...
LOVE
Unconditional Love -
"Love created me like itself"..." ~ A Course in Miracles.
Many people feel deeply alive and joyous when they are in love. Love is the strongest healing force in the universe - it is what we all need and desire! Companion animals are known for giving unconditional love and acceptance. Indeed we should all be loved just for who we are, not what we do or what we have or do not have. They are a great exapmple for us to remember that we are Love! This is how the Creator looks upon all of Creation - can we do the same for each other?
